ISAAC

12 weeks. Isaac has started gripping with both hands, recently. Baby toys, fingers, clothing and Daddy's chest hair (ouch!).

He was rolling over at 10 weeks. Fortunately our mattress is on the floor, otherwise we couldn't leave him alone in bed.

At 9 weeks he weighed 6.2 kg, putting him in the 90th percentile or so.

He has been smiling for quite a while, since 8 weeks or so.

ISSAC

On the 6th of May Isaac rolled onto his front by himself - not yet 3 months

When Isaac looks at himself in the mirror he smirks as if to say, "Hi
there, handsome".

PATRICK

Yesterday, Patrick managed to walk into a glass door twice, on two
separate occasions. Once at Yejj, and once at Pencil market. I saw the
occasion at Yejj and it was very funny! Not for Patrick, though. He
cried quite hard.

FAMILY

Our family is currently looking at moving into a poor neighbourhood
along a stretch of train tracks, and attached to a large lake. Patrick
and Isaac are quite the attractions there (as we expected). One family
has been very friendly and they have been looking for houses for us to
look at. Our hope is that we can find a house that will allow us to live
out our InnerChange calling among the poor, but in a way that won't
overwhelm our family. In Boeung Tra Bek Patrick got overwhelmed as he
was a bright white target all the time. There is equal potential for
that to happen in this new neighbourhood. Finding a house that can be
used as a refuge, will be a big help. But we also desire for Patrick to
be able to freely join in the play with all the other neighbourhood kids.
